GIG HARBOR, WA β€” Don't be alarmed, but there's a giant cat on the loose in Gig Harbor.

It's not exactly a tiger, but it's still pretty big. This African house cat, also called a Savannah cat, got away from its owner in the north end of Gig Harbor, and was last seen on Sunday. The cat has been declawed, according to police.

Police did not say how big the cat is, but judging by the picture, he's much bigger than a common house cat. Savannah cats can grow in excess of 20 pounds, depending on what type of hybrid they are.
