Author to share World War II labor camp life at Key Center Library

People will hear firsthand about life in a World War II labor camp during a free event at , 8905 KPN, on Friday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m.  

Dr. John K. Stutterheim will talk about his experiences as an internee in a Japanese labor camp when he was a teenager.

During his imprisonment, he kept a secret diary. He recorded his memories in his book, “Diary of Prisoner 17326: A Boy's Life in a Japanese Labor Camp.”

Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing. Friends of the Key Center Library sponsor this free event.
