
People will have the opportunity to talk with a local author during a free event at , 8905 KPN on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.
Book enthusiasts will meet with Key Peninsula author Leslie Bratspis to celebrate the release of her new novel, "Good Fortune.”
She will read short excerpts from the book and answer questions. Books will be available for sale, cash only and signing.

The new novel tells the story of Chinese wisdom passing secretly through handwritten fortunes to guide the lives of two men from different cultures.
Bratspis studied cultural anthropology and earned a bachelor of arts at California State University, Northridge. Friends of the Key Center Library is the sponsor for this free event.
