Harbor Fire Girls Lacrosse Takes on Tacoma

Come cheer on Gig Harbor's girls lacrosse team as it faces Tacoma at 10 a.m. at the 

This is the first year for the Harbor Fire to host the girls team. The players range from 6th through 8th grade. 

If you're familiar with boys lacrosse, you'll be surprised to see how different girls lacrosse is. The athletes use different sticks and only wear mouth guards and goggles for protection. Nonetheless, it's an exciting sport that's taking off in the harbor.
