As her senior project, Gig Harbor's Kyra Langhelm is organizing a 5k race to . The race will be on the new Sehmel Park trails at 9am. After the race there will be awards for the top male and female runners and also a raffle to raise funds for the 9/11 memorial.
Route: A two-loop 5k course will be completed around the trails of Sehmel Park.
