The four firefighters of Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One will return from their trip to New York on Monday, May 30. They will bring back a piece of the remains from the World Trade Center.
Come join the fire department around 3 p.m. at fire station 50 (Headquarters building) where there will be pipes and drums to greet the crew. The ceremony will last about 30 minutes, but afterward you can stick around and take a closer look of the 900-pound artifact.
