In celebration of the upcoming summer season, Peninsula welcomes area seniors to its free Spring into Summer events June 8 and 9.
Peninsula, www.peninsula-retirement.com, is an independent senior retirement community located at 3445 50th St. Ct. NW in Gig Harbor.
The Spring into Summer events include an open house on June 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a BBQ cookout with hamburgers and onion rings on June 9 at 5:30 p.m.
