If you're planning on doing some shopping for Mother's Day this weekend, downtown Gig Harbor is the place to be. More than 30 merchants in the downtown area are offering a "Tax Free Day of Shopping" this Saturday, April 30. (Some restrictions do apply at certain establishments.)
The deal is good through the entire day. The participating businesses will have three green balloons flying outside the shop.
