Gig Harbor Police Lt. Bill Colberg Hangs Up Badge After 41 Years In Law Enforcement

Colberg retired last week, following a distinguished a career that included three decades working in Gig Harbor.

Last week, one of Gig Harbor's longest-serving protectors called it a career.

Lt. Bill Colberg, who spent 41 years in law enforcement, officially retired amidst a flood of congratulations from colleagues, friends and residents.

It's hard to argue Colberg deserved anything less. Of his years serving and protecting, 31 of them were on the streets and roads of Gig Harbor.
