Gig Harbor Student Receives Good Samaritan Award
Kindergartener Madeline Wareham assisted to get help after she noticed that her father was experiencing a medical emergency.
On Wednesday, Dec. 5, Gig Harbor Fire Chief John Burgess visited the Harbor Heights Elementary School to present a Good Samaritan Award to one of its brave students.
On Friday, Nov. 9, kindergartener Madeline Wareham recognized her father was having a medical emergency and assisted by getting help, according to Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One Prevention Specialist Nanette Tatom.
