Meet A Future Leader In Gig Harbor: Sarai Jimenez-Juarez
Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.

The future of Gig Harbor is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Sarai Jimenez-Juarez, who are making a positive impact in and around Gig Harbor.
A 2024 graduate of Peninsula High School, Sarai Jimenez-Juarez overcame significant challenges, including undergoing brain surgery during her sophomore yearβan experience that ultimately fueled her passion for the medical field. Saraiβs perseverance and commitment to helping others have led her to pursue a degree in biology at Seattle Pacific University, with the goal of becoming a surgical nurse.
Sarai was also a highly involved and accomplished student during her time at Peninsula. She completed over 100 hours of community service at Mary Bridge Childrenβs Hospital, and also served as vice president of the Environmental Club and the AVID Club. She was one of 14 local graduates awarded a Herons Key scholarship, exemplifying the strength, ambition and selflessness that make her a true leader in her community.
