National Weather Service Issues Gale Warning For Puget Sound on Sunday

The National Weather Service issued a Gale Warning for Puget Sound and Hood Canal from noon to midnight Sunday.
Southerly winds of 15 to 25 knots are expected ahead of a front, Sunday morning, then becoming southwesterly 25 to 35 knots Sunday afternoon and evening behind a front.
Waves will be 2 to 4 feet Sunday morning then build to 4 to 6 feet.
Pierce County Emergency Management will be monitoring the situation.
