Road Resurfacing Project To Impact Traffic On Point Fosdick Drive
Crews will be resurfacing about a mile of Point Fosdick Drive Northwest next month, and drivers are being warned to expect delays.
GIG HARBOR, WA β A road resurfacing project may cause some delays for drivers who use Point Fosdick Drive Northwest to head in and out of Gig Harbor.
Construction is set to kick off on May 31, and will run through late June. During that time, crews will be resurfacing roughly a mile of Point Fosdick Drive Northwest from Stone Drive Northwest almost up to 36th Street Northwest, where Point Fosdick Drive enters the city limits.

Over the course of several weeks crews will be fracturing and resetting the pavement to create a smooth surface, and installing a guardrail along select portions of the roadway. It also means the road will likely be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic during work hours. General work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, though work hours may be extended depending on the situation.
