VIDEO: Duo Caught Breaking Into Vehicles At Cushman Trail

Gig Harbor police say the pair were caught breaking into several vehicles last week in the Cushman Trail parking lot in Gig Harbor.

GIG HARBOR, WA β€” Surveillance video captured two people boldly breaking into two vehicles recently during daylight hours near a popular trail in Gig Harbor.

Video released Monday by the Gig Harbor Police Department shows two people snooping around two vehicles at the Cushman Trail parking lot off Borgen Boulevard on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The pair can then be seen peeping closely into both vehicles' windows before diving head first through them to take items lying in clear view.

"Do not leave items in view within your vehicle," police warned after releasing the video via social media.

One of the suspects can be seen crawling out of the car with a black bag in hand before walking out of the camera's view. The second suspect can be seen exiting the vehicle with a grey bag.

It was not immediately known what kinds of items were inside the stolen bags.
