2021 is an election year in Gig Harbor. Here's which positions are up for grabs.
GIG HARBOR, WA — It seems like the November 2020 General Election was just days ago, but the next election is coming up quick for voters in Gig Harbor.
2021 is an election year for the city, here's a look at all the positions that are up for grabs:
- Mayor
- Councilmember Position 1
- Councilmember Position 2
- Councilmember Position 3
- Councilmember Position 7
Those positions are currently held by Kit Kuhn, Jeni Woock, Bob Himes, Jim Franich, and Spencer Abersold, respectively.

Anyone who hopes to challenge them, will have to file for candidacy with Pierce County during the week of May 17 - 21.
