• Snohomish County waives disposal of flood-damaged items (kiro7.com) — Granite Falls residents affected by recent flooding can get disposal fees waived for damaged household items through Snohomish County’s new flood voucher program, with vouchers available at the Granite Falls Police Department. The 30-day program runs through January 18, 2026, and covers items like carpets, furniture, clothes, and some appliances, but excludes yard debris, construction waste, and refrigerators or freezers.
