13 Things To Know About Kirkland Patch
In recognition of our five-month anniversary, here are some ways to become more engaged with Kirkland Patch.

Kirkland Patch launched five months ago today. In that time weโve covered breaking police news, city government, annexation, new restaurants and businesses. We've followedย Lake Washington and Juanita high school sports, parks and recreation, and explored public art. We'veย profiled many colorful people in the greater Kirkland area.ย
Many people check our site daily; some are still just discovering Kirkland Patch. To inform everyone of all we have to offer, weโve prepared this reminder about why we are here and what the site is all about.
In a nutshell, itโs all about you, the people who live and work in Kirkland. Itโs our job to cover the news, but we want you to be an active part of Kirkland Patch. We want this site to be Kirkland's virtual community commons โ the town square where you comment on stories and share your opinions, post your photos, announcements and events.
