Help us calculate travel times in Kirkland, before and after the tolling of the 520 bridge. Volunteers are needed to drive various routes throughout Kirkland during rush hour Monday-Friday 7-9ย a.m., 4-6ย p.m. A GPS-enabled device will measure the travel speed as you drive. We can provide the vehicle. Volunteers may also be needed to assist with data compilation. You must be over 21 and have a valid driverโs license. Interview and background check required. HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIRโOne-day opportunity
Volunteers are needed to assist with the holiday craft fair Saturday, Nov. 26 ย from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Help out with parking, serving coffee, setup/teardown, and garbage/restroom checks. RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP OUTREACHโongoing
Like pets? Help the City maintain animal services by increasing awareness of responsible pet ownership and rates of licensed pets. Volunteers will make friendly reminder phone calls to those whose licenses have lapsed, attend events to raise awareness, and leave information for residents at their homes. The ideal candidate is good with the public, responsible, self motivated, and willing to make a 6 month commitment. CITY HALL INFORMATION DESKโongoing
Assist at the City Hall Information desk with answering phones, transferring calls, and directing customers. Learn about what your City does, answer questions, and provide great customer service to the citizens of Kirkland! The ideal volunteer will have customer service experience, be friendly and love working with people. Teh city is seeking volunteers 18 and older who can make a six-month commitment.
