Brew Fest at Saint Ed's; Work Party at Watershed Park

The Washington Brewers Festival kicks off a three-day run at , some of which is now inside the Kirkland city limits. More than 60 breweries will be represented, including 50 from Washington, with more than 200 beers on tap. Live music, games and food booths round things out. Hours tonight are 4-9 p.m. and tickets $15, which gives you tokens for four samples.

The Juanita Friday Market is 3-7 p.m at , this one billed as "Jazz Night."

The Green Kirkland Partnership will mount a work party at , 10 a.m.  to 2 p.m., and could use more volunteers to help remove invasive species. Details here.
