Celebrate Kirkland Party and Auction Tonight

Celebrate Kirkland’s second auction and party to help raise funds for Kirkland’s annual Fourth of July celebration and fireworks will be held at Friday evening, 6-9 p.m.

Featuring live music by Kirkland's own Marilyn and the G-Strings, the event will feature a silent auction of donated items, trips and experiences, and refreshments. A donation of $10 is suggested.

“We did this event last year, and it is one of several fundraisers to make the Fourth of July happen in Kirkland,” said Bill Vadino of the Downtown Kirkland Association, the non-profit parent group of Celebrate Kirkland.

Celebrate Kirkland has produced the city’s Fourth of July festivities for 12 years, including its two parades (children’s and old-fashioned) starting in the morning, the picnic at Marina Park with live music in the afternoon and the spectacular fireworks show at night.
