Cheers for Volunteers: Comcast Employees Spend a Day at Peter Kirk Elementary

As part of the 10thย "Comcast Cares Day,โ employees of the company's Redmond Field Fulfillment Office turned out Saturday to haul and spread mulch, landscape and otherwise beautify the Norkirk Neighborhood school.
Across the state and country, more than 62,000 Comcast volunteers participated in this annual day of service, which according to the company is one of the largest single days of corporate volunteer service in the nation.

Here in Kirkland, the Comcast employees were assisted by members of the Peter Kirk PTSA in moving and spreading a small โmountainโ of mulch and planting new shrubs and grass.
