City Council Begins Two-Day Retreat; Neighborhoods Associations Meet

- The sun rises at 7:13 a.m. and goes down at 7:22 p.m.
- The City Council begins a two-day retreat, based at Heritage Hall on Market Street. This session is from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. and discussions will focus on strategic planning and the 2013-14 budget, including a report on the financial outlook for that budget. Tuesday's session will be a tour of the annexation areas of Finn Hill, north Juanita and Kingsgate.
- Three neighborhood associations meet, all starting at 7 p.m.: Lakeview at the Metropolitan Market on NE 68th St.; North Rose Hill at Fire Station 26 on 124th Ave. N.E; and Moss Bay, at Heritage Hall on Market.
