City Issues Correction to Missing Figures in Annexation Pamphlet

A table comparing property tax rates in King County and Kirkland was incorrect; the actual figures can be found on the city web site.

The has issued a correction to an annexation property tax comparison in a pamphlet it recently mailed to residents and businesses in northern neighborhoods that on June 1 will become part of the city.

On page 23 of the pamphlet โ€œYour Guide; City of Kirkland,โ€ sent to residents and businesses in the Finn Hill, north Juanita and Kingsate areas, the top line of the property tax comparison table mistakenly showed totals of $0.

The actual totals, which show property taxes going down in the annexation areas, can be found on the cityโ€™s web site here.
