Downtown Association Seeks Volunteers to Help Decorate Town
Lights and garlands will be put up for the holidays on Nov. 19.
The is seeking approximately 100 elves to help deck the streets of town with holiday decorations on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Downtown businesses are providing money to purchase garlands and lights -- as well as refreshments and lunch -- but the KDA is relying on volunteers to put them up.
Participants are asked to bring gloves, pliers, and ladders if possible, and meet at (201 Kirkland Ave) at 8 a.m. The retirement community will be providing hot cider, coffee and cookies, and will be provide sandwiches.
