Eight Lake Washington High Students Advance in DECA Competition

Marketing, business and entrepreneurship conference runs Thursday through Saturday in Bellevue.

Eight students from Lake Washington High School will compete in the 2011 DECAย State Career Development Conferenceย Thursday through Saturday in Bellevue.ย 

The following Lake Washington students earned top placement at the DECA Area Conference last month and will continue competing at the state level this week:

  • ย Alexis Hamilton, marketing management, second place.
  • ย Nathan Brandย andย Kevin Middleton, marketing communications team, third place.
  • Camille Worsech, marketing management, fourth place.
  • Shannonย Ongย andย Maggie Lehr, LW advertising campaign, fifth place.
  • Jordan Coxย and Curtis Donahoe, finance team, seventh place.

DECA is a national group -- Distributive Education Clubs of America -- designed to foster hands-on education in marketing, business and entrepreneurship.
