Hearing Examiner Meets on Parkplace Appeal; Planning Commission Meets with Houghton Council

- The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. in City Hall, joined first by the Houghton Community Council to discuss potential development at the South Kirkland Park and Ride. Afterward it takes up the issue of "green codes," which are designed to encourage environmentally friendly development.
- The Hearing Examiner will conduct a special meeting at 9 a.m. in City Hall to hear an appeal of Design Board decisions on the Parkplace mixed-use project. The appeal questions the scope and design of the project relative to city guidelines.
