UPDATE: Kirkland Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
The 43-year-old man is suspected of robbing a Bank of America branch.
The FBI has arrested a 43-year-old Bothell man suspected of robbing the Juanita Village branch of the Bank of America last Friday.
Anthony R. Shindler was arrested Monday morning without incident at the at 11224 N.E. 124th St. in Kirkland, according to the FBI. He made his initial appearance in the U.S. District Court for for Western Washington in Seattle Tuesday afternoon.
The FBI had released surveillance camera images of the robber Friday afternoon that were and by other media, and agent Fred Gutt said Tuesday that โthanks to the work you all do,โ a tipster provided information that led to the arrest.
The suspect robbed the bank at 11617 97th Lane N.E. at about 10 a.m. Friday with a silver handgun, the FBI said.
