Last of Five Defendants Sentenced in Attempted Medical Pot Robbery

Eighteen-year-old gets 94 months in prison.

The last of five defendants was sentenced today for a 2010 home invasion robbery attempt at the home of a Kirkland man who is a medical marijuana grower, the King County Prosecutor's office announced Friday.

Dakota Laughren, 18, was sentenced toย 94 monthsย in prison. He was sentenced beforeย Judge LeRoy McCullough.

Laughren pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary and first-degree attempted robbery. The sentence range, which included firearm enhancements, was 91 to 101 months in prison. The other four defendants also pleaded guilty and have already been sentenced.

The defendants were accused of attempting to rob a home on Finn Hill where medical marijuana was being grown.
