Left in a Shopping Bag as a Kitten, Watson Once Again Needs a Home

Now nine years old, healthy and happy, he's back at the shelter and in need of a new family.

Abandoned as a kitten, Watson is a 9-year-old, fluffy black and white cat that was given up a second time when the family he was with had children of their own.

When he was tiny he was discovered alone in a shopping bag at the Houghton Park & Ride. Now he's back at shelter in Houghton, aย fine older gentleman.

He is a bit shy at first, but once heโ€™s comfortable with you heโ€™s gentle and affectionate. Over time heโ€™ll purr deeply and talk with a tiny voice.

He isn't fond of dogs, but will do fine with other cats and older children.ย He is healthy and happy, is up-to-date with his shots and micro-chipped.

Kirkland Patch is pleased to report that the cats featured here last Saturday, Jack and Jill, were adopted almost immediately after appearing. We'd like to make it two in a row, and dear Mr. Watson certainly needs a new place to hang his hat.ย
