Make-a-Wish Foundation Plans Benefit Walk at Marymoor
Members of the public are invited to join local Make-a-Wish children and their families at the third-annual event.

Theย Make-a-Wish Foundationย will hold its third-annualย Walk for Wishesย benefit walk on Sunday, Aug. 14, atย ย in Redmond. Members of the public are invited to join local "wish kids" and their families as they walk to raise money for children with life-threatening illnesses who have made wishes through the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Washington and Alaska.
The event will include refreshments, children's activities and a performance by Seattle-based kids' rock bandย .
The cost to register is $25 before July 31 or $40 after. Participants are also encouraged to collect donations from friends, family and co-workers. The top team and individual fundraisers will win a seven-night Royal Carribbean cruise and two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines.

Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the walk starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m. Online registration and a downloadable registration form are available atnwmakeawish.kintera.org/walkforwishes
