PET of the WEEK: Peter Cottontail is Happy and Hopping Again

Two-year-old snow white cat is healthy again after being found very weak and so thin his ribs showed.

Peter Cottontail, aptly named because of his snow white fur, little pink nose and short little tail, is a 2-year-old cat that was rescued from a grocery store parking lot very weak and rib-showing thin.

Now at , a no-kill shelter in Houghton, he also has has big front feet and really long back legs. He is about 2.5 years old and ready to find a permanent place where he can hop around happily.

Peter has filled out nicely and is in great shape. He has been neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated, dewormed, microichipped, has had his nails trimmed - in other words, he's had the spa treatment!
ย
Peter doesn't seem to mind other cats and he doesn't react to dogs.ย  He will most likely do fine with older children as well. He loves humans and expresses his gratitude with head butts.ย
