Pet of the Week: Striking Blossom is Sweet and Pretty as a Flower

Just one-and-a-half years old, Blossom was returned to MEOW Cat Rescue in Houghton because her family didn't feel she was a good fit.

By MARILYN HENDRICKSON

Blossom is a sweet kitty, just a year and a half old and with amazing black, orange and white markings.

This sweetheart was relinquished to , a no-kill shelter in Houghton, because her family didn't feel that she was the right fit for its household.

She has lived with another cat, so shelter staff know that gets along well with others. She is a human magnet at the shelter and reacts warmly to gentle conversation, acknowledges her name and loves to be petted. She responds with purrs and lets you know that she is so happy that you are paying attention to her. She often reaches her paws out to say โ€œhelloโ€ to those walking by.

Blossom has been spayed, micro-chipped, tested for feline diseases and is healthy. Please stop in at MEOW to meet Blossom -- and see if love blooms. See seeย www.meowcatrescue.orgย or callย 425-822-6369.
