Pet of the Week: Tad Needs a Friend

Super affectionate 1.5-year-old cat is Mr. Personality and makes friends in an instant.

Tad is a 1.5-year-old cat with a personality that just wonโ€™t quit. The volunteers at in Houghton, where he currently resides, say it takes a nanosecond for Tad to introduce himself and make friends, curling around legs and gently head-butting with affection.

He follows the volunteers around like a little dog, but prefers to perch upon their shoulders as they go about the business of taking care of the many other cats at the shelter.

He's just a good boy, very expressive and crazy about all sorts of toys, too. Tad is where he is of his own accord as well. He appeared as a stray cat at an apartment complex, where he went from door to door begging to come in, get attention, food, whatever!

A good Samaritan stepped in and brought him to the shelter. Tad has since been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and tested for feline leukemia and feline aids.

He is perfectly healthy and ready to leave the nest and make his presence known in a home. If you care to meet him, see www.meowcatrescue.org or call 425-822-6369.
