PET of the WEEK: Well-Named Jezebelly Stands Out in the Crowd

Big and beautiful 6-year-old was found in a park after birthing a litter of kittens and now she needs a home -- and a diet.

One look at Jezebelly and youโ€™ll know instantly how she came to be called that by the staff at in Houghton.

Jezebelly is ย one of those cats who really stands out in a crowd. Her colors are striking, a black and white bi-color with gorgeous golden eyes.

Oh and, um, she is on the larger size, topping the scales at a whopping 18-pounds, 12-ounces. Jezebelly is a plus-sized girl who needs to lose weight because her current condition puts her at a higher risk for disease and health problems.

Ideally she should lose 8 or 9 pounds, and she is on a special diet to help her achieve this goal.

Jezebelly will do best in a home where she can get some much needed exercise -- something that she's not getting nearly enough of in the constraints of a shelter environment.

Sheโ€™s six years old and came to MEOW after being found in a public park, where she'd given birth to a litter of kittens. She has done well with dogs and other cats. ย She is gentle, quiet and independent. She does like to play with and chase toys - both of which would help her lose weight more quickly.

If you'd like to help Jezebelly meet her goal,ย seeย www.meowcatrescue.orgย or callย 425-822-6369.
