Police Nab Woman in Kirkland for DUI With Kids in Car
The Kenmore woman was one of two drivers Redmond Police arrested Monday for allegedly driving under the influence with kids in the car.

Redmond Police plan to pursue charges of reckless endangerment and DUI against two women that were allegedly caught driving under the influence with children in their vehicles on Monday, one of them just inside the Kirkland city limits.
In the first incident, a 43-year-old Redmond woman was arrested after police received a call reporting an intoxicated driver in the parking lot of the Redmond Regional Library. Police say the woman was under the influence of alcohol and had a 3-year-old boy and 8-year-old boy in her vehicle. She was getting ready to leave the parking lot when she was approached by police.

In the second case, a 35-year-old pregnant Kenmore woman was arrested at around 3:20 p.m. after someone reported seeing a reckless driver who hit a curb. Police say she was under the influence of prescription drugs and had two children, ages 2 and 5, in her vehicle. She was stopped in the 12800 block of NE 85th St., just outside Redmond city limits in Kirkland.
Redmond Patch typically does not name people who have been accused of a crime until they are formally charged.
