Road, Lane Closures Surround Kirkland this Weekend
Portions of I-405 South as well as the 520 bridge will be closed much of the weekend.
If you're going to be on the road this weekend, plan your trips.
The 520 bridge closes tonight, May 31, at 11 p.m., and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.
Meanwhile, be aware that onย Saturday, June 1,ย contractor crews will close portions of southbound I-405 to continue restriping the highway as part of theย Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project.ย
Starting atย 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, three lanes of southbound I-405 between NE 85th Street and NE 70th Street will be closed. The NE 85th Street ramps to and from southbound I-405 also will be closedย overnight in this area.ย
All lanes and ramps will reopen byย 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 2.ย
