Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery Identified as 19-Year-Old Bothell Man
Edward D. Diep is still being held in the King County Jail on $250,000 bail.

A Bothell man by Kirkland Police investigating a February armed robbery in the Totem Lake area and burglaries on Finn Hill has been identified as Edward D. Diep, 19.
Diep remains in the King County Jail on $250,000 bail on charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful firearms possession and second-degree burglary,ย Kirkland Police Sgt. Rob Saloum said Tuesday.
Diep's arraignment is scheduled for April 19.

The armed robbery in late February of two Kirkland men occurred in a parking lot in the 12500 block of 116th Avenue in the Totem Lake area. The investigation generated a composite drawing of the suspect, which was sent to other area law enforcement agencies, resulting in the identification of the suspect.
Kirkand police say they served a search warrant at Diepโs Bothell residence and recovered a gun believed to have been used in the robbery, one victimโs wallet and clothing believed worn by the suspect during the robbery.

Also recovered, according to Kirkland police, was property stolen from burglaries committed in Kirklandโs annexation area, including property from the Kingsgate Public Library and from a residence in the Finn Hill neighborhood.
All of the confirmed stolen items, including laptop computers, a digital camera and cash, were returned to the rightful owners.
