Two Downtown Streets to Close Saturday Morning for Little League Parade

The Kirkland American Little League comes marching through downtown Kirkland on Saturday, March 19, as part of its season-opening ceremonies, so plan on taking some detours from 10 a.m. to noon.

The City of Kirkland will close the following streets starting at 10 a.m. until the last parade participant passes.

• Both lanes of Lakeshore Plaza Drive at Marina Park; access to the boat launch will not be available beginning at 9 a.m.
• Eastbound lanes of Central Way from Lakeshore Plaza Drive to 4^th street.

The league will host 800 or more participants during the parade and the following jamboree at the ball field.
