Armed Robbery Suspects Shoot Victim In Parkland
The victim was largely unharmed, and by the time deputies arrived had pinned a suspect to the ground.

PARKLAND, WA — An adult man and juvenile girl have both been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and shooting early Friday morning in the Parkland area.
According to an update from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, the two suspects tried to rob a man as he was sitting in his car with his young daughter in the 500 block of 128th St S.
During the robbery, deputies say, the suspects shot their victim and a fight broke out. By the time officers arrived, the victim had the adult suspect pinned to the ground.

The girl was still loose, and officers say that when they ordered her to put her hands up, she pulled a gun and aimed it at deputies. Eventually, however, she lowered the gun and surrendered.
During the tussle with the would-be robbers, a Good Samaritan saw the commotion and wrestled a gun away from the adult suspect as he fought the victim. The Samaritan then grabbed a first aid kit and was able to help the shooting victim while they waited for medics to arrive.

The shooting victim's young daughter remained inside the car during the incident, and was unharmed.
The adult male suspect has been booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of robbery. The girl has been booked into Remann Hall for robbery in the first degree and assault of a police officer.
