Lakewood Drive Signal Replacement May Cause Traffic Headaches

LAKEWOOD, WA — Commuters in Lakewood will want to be prepared for an upcoming construction project that's likely to cause some frustration starting next week.

Beginning Monday, crews will embark on a major project to replace the traffic signal at the intersection of 100th and Lakewood.

The city says the project will likely cause lane restrictions and closures, which could last into the following week.

In the meantime, it may be better to just avoid the intersection all together.
