Lakewood Plans 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The public is invited to Lakewood City Hall next week for an event marking 20 years since the 9/11 terror attacks.
LAKEWOOD, WA — The City of Lakewood is inviting the public to join it in remembering those we lost in the September 11 attacks 20 years ago.
A 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony has been planned at Lakewood City Hall for next Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, a performance of the Star Spangled Banner, and remarks by Lakewood Mayor Don Anderson, Police Chief Mike Zaro, and West Pierce Fire & Rescue Fire Chief Jim Sharp.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
