Overnight Bridgeport Way Construction May Cause Traffic Delays

LAKEWOOD, WA — Late night commuters who use Bridgeport Way will want to prepare for a construction project later this month that's going to cause some lane changes and delays.

As the City of Lakewood explains, the closure will begin the night of Saturday Nov. 20, and will last through Nov. 24. During that time, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day construction work will force lane adjustments near the intersection with Filbert Lane.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible, or prepare for potential delays when passing through.
