Rolled Semi On I-5 Blocking Southbound Traffic
The Washington State Department of Transportation cautions drivers to expect delays.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Southbound I-5 is slow-going midday Tuesday, thanks to a rolled semi truck. The semi rolled near the Mounts Road overpass just before noon, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.
As a result, two lanes of southbound I-5 have been totally blocked, while first responders try to clean up the wreckage. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and is expected to fully recover, but drivers are cautioned to expect long-standing delays as workers gather the necessary equipment to remove the semi and begin cleanup.
As of 12:45 p.m., traffic has already backed up to north of JBLM.
