The project includes the LEED Gold–certified Lynnwood City Center Station, designed for accessibility, multimodal connections, and community-informed public spaces that should ease commutes and reduce car dependence.

U.S. Attorney's Office, 24-Hour Fitness resolve allegations it violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (myedmondsnews.com) — Lynnwood’s 24-Hour Fitness is included in a new federal settlement requiring all company gyms to tighten Americans with Disabilities Act compliance. As traffic death toll mounts, Washington state looks to help teens with driver's ed (chronline.com) — A Lynnwood-based state senator is helping lead a push to expand and require driver’s education for Washington residents under 25, responding to rising traffic deaths involving young drivers. Lawmakers are weighing bills to mandate classes and create vouchers so low-income and foster youth can afford training, amid data showing significantly fewer crashes among teens who complete driver’s ed.
   

4. Vivian Baylor: She loved birdwatching, gardening and family (lynnwoodtoday.com) — Lynnwood residents are mourning 87-year-old Vivian Rose Annette Baylor, who passed away December 4 at her home in Lynnwood after a life devoted to family, tribal community service, and her church. Born in Montana and long active in CS&K Tribal Council life, she loved birdwatching, gardening, and hosting gatherings; a public memorial and private burial are planned in Arlee in August 2026.
