Benton ready to sue Franklin County over juvenile services (tri-cityherald.com) — Medical Lake is being considered as the new site for Franklin County’s juvenile offenders, who may be moved to the privately run Martin Hall facility on the Eastern State Hospital campus. Benton County is preparing to sue Franklin County, arguing a long-term contract for shared juvenile services is being abandoned with almost no notice, potentially costing Benton taxpayers millions and affecting dozens of jobs.
