Garrett Awarded Prize Upon Graduation from Whitman College

Krista Garrett of Mercer Island, Wash. received an award upon graduating from Whitman College on Sunday, May 20, 2012 with a B.A. in Geology.

Garrett was given a Albert Ripley Leeds Prize for Excellence in Geology.

Whitman College, in Walla Walla, Wash., is nationally renowned for offering a rigorous, well-rounded liberal arts undergraduate education.
