Update: Bellevue Police Look for Two-Year-Old Boy Missing from Car
The mother of Sky Metalwala, 2, told Bellevue police that she left the boy in her car when she and her four-year-old went to get help after she ran out of gas in the 2400 block of 112th Avenue Northeast Sunday morning.

The mother told police just before 10 a.m. Sunday that her son was missing from the car, which was on a street that includes l, a residential neighborhood, a business park and a wooded area on the west side and Interstate 405 on the east side.
Police ask anyone who was traveling Sunday morning along 112th Ave N.E., between State Route-520 and NE 24th Ave N.E. to please call police through the NORCOM dispatch center at 425-577-5656.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press reports that the boy's parents were cited in 2009 for leaving a child in a car in Redmond. The case was dismissed after the parents agreed to a year of probation, parenting classes and community service, according to the Associated press.
The boy's parents, identified by the Associated Press as Julia Biryukova and Solomon Metalwala, began divorce proceedings in 2009, which included a protection order requested by Biryukova who said that her husband threatened to kill her if she sought custody of their children, according to the Associated Press report.
The Bellevue police said Monday in a news release that both parents were cooperating with police and that the mother's Redmond home and her car has been searched. The father lives in Kirkland.
