Update: Bellevue Police Look for Two-Year-Old Boy Missing from Car

The FBI joined the search Monday for the two-year-old who went missing in north Bellevue after his mother left him in her unlocked car, according to the .

The search is still on for Sky Metalwala, 2, who was while his mother took his 4-year-old sister to get help after they ran out of gas, according what his mother had told police.

The boy's parents, identified by the Associated Press as Julia Biryukova and Solomon Metalwala, began divorce proceedings in 2009, which included a protection order requested by Biryukova who said that her husband threatened to kill her if she sought custody of their children, according to the Associated Press report.

The Bellevue police said Monday in a news release that both parents were cooperating with police and that the mother's Redmond home and her car has been searched. The father lives in Kirkland.
