Wrinkle in Time - Youth Theatre Northwest

presents a fantastical adventure through time and space! Based on the beloved book by Madeleine L’Engle and adapted by James Sie, A Wrinkle in Time opens Friday, April 20th and performs through May 6, 2012. A Wrinkle in Time is directed by YTN Artist in Residence Kate Swenson.

Description: Two years ago, Meg’s scientist father vanished while working on a secret government project. Then one dark and stormy night, the eccentric and disturbing Mrs. Whatsit arrives at the family home with a secret of his whereabouts. On the wings of a fantastical adventure, Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, and friend Calvin are transported through time and space on a mission to rescue their father from a dark and distant planet.  Can they save their father from the evil forces that hold him prisoner and make it home before their mother realizes they’ve gone?

A Wrinkle in Time is best for ages 8+, and performs on YTN’s Mainstage April 20 – May 6;

• Opening Night Gala on April 20 will feature a special intermission dessert buffet; Tickets cost $17 for adults, $15 for youth/seniors
• Fridays and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm,
• Weekend matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
