Patriot Jet Team Seafair Airshow Practice: Today on Mercer Island

What's that roar overhead?

It might be a little cloudy today, but this will be the first chance you'll get to see the Patriots Jet Team practicing from 1:15 to 2:40 p.m. for the Seafair Boeing Air Show. This is the only scheduled practice for the air show; the team will put on two more performances on Saturday and Sunday.

Also as a reminder, WSDOT will close I-90 from Interstate 5 in Seattle to Island Crest Way on Mercer Island during the Patriots’ practice flights and performances, starting today, Aug. 2, through Sunday, Aug 4. Traffic will need to take alternate routes. Drivers should expect heavy traffic and delays in the greater Seattle and Bellevue areas.
