Zaw Pizza Celebrates First Anniversary on Mercer Island

The artisan take-and-bake pizza shop on SE 27th Street is celebrating one year in business with a half-off special on Pizzas Tuesday and Wednesday (Nov. 13 & 14).

Zaw Artisan Pizza is celebrating its one-year anniversary of business on Mercer Island with half-off its pizza pies this Tuesday and Wenesday.

The pizzaria — which first opened last October — is offering half-off its fresh, locally made pizzas for Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday, Nov. 14. only.

The "take-and-bake" pizzas are made from seasonal ingredients which come primarily from the Pacific Northwest and also offers local soft drinks, wine and beer for sale from the store.

The current seasonal special, a "Pumpkin Patch" pizza, features slices of Washington state-grown pumpkin, Cascioppo Brothers Italian sausage, caramelized red onion, mozzarella and parmesan cheese for $14.95 (medium) and $17.95 (large) (all pizzas can be made with gluten-free flour).

Zaw has six locations in Seattle and Mercer Island, and the local shop is located at 7635 SE 27th Street in the Tabit Village Square in Town Center,
